A Picture,

it is said, is worth a thousand words. I have no doubt I'll have several thousand words ready for you soon, but for now I have for you a photo that says it all far better than I can:

I'm still smiling so wide I'm desperately afraid the ends of my mouth are going to meet in the back of my skull and scissor the top two-thirds of my head off.

Solo? Holy cow! I'd be grinning like a fool, too.

Smile like that and you'll look like a South Park Canadian!

Solo? Did someone warn the populace?

Solo, Gordo. *heh* I sound like Jabba the Hutt! *lol* It was tethered, so I wasn't exactly out over the city, but I was the only thing keeping me from smacking the ground really hard, so yes. *G*

Joan, I probably did! Note also the farmer's tan. One of the drawbacks of having your photographer shooing UP at you.

meno, I wasn't THAT loose! *lol* Plus the event we were at was over, so everyone (mostly) had gone home. Very little danger. Heh.

You weren't out tipping cows in a balloon?

No cows, Scott! It was on an old golf course. I guess I could have tipped a caddy or two if I'd been sharp-eyed enough...
